The Greens proudly congratulate our National Co-Women Leader, Hon. Catherine Dzame, on her election to the National Steering Committee of the Political Parties Liaison Committee (PPLC), following the recent elections held in Naivasha in partnership with the ORPP.
This election is not symbolic. It reflects the depth of leadership within the UGM Party and affirms that we are building a political movement anchored on capable, principled women who are shaping national political processes, not observing them from the margins.
Women remain the backbone of political organization, mobilisation, and community leadership across Kenya. Yet their voices and decision-making power remain structurally limited. A democracy that excludes women at the centre of power cannot deliver justice, stability, or long-term national progress.
The PPLC plays a critical role in strengthening inter-party dialogue and safeguarding fair, transparent, and peaceful political competition. Hon. Dzame’s presence in this space strengthens accountability, inclusion, and institutional integrity, values that sit at the core of the UGM political project.
As Greens, we call on more women to step forward, organise, contest, and lead. The future of this country must be shaped by women who understand the realities of families, communities, and governance, and who are ready to transform politics with courage, competence, and constitutional discipline.
Keep winning, Mhesh.
