The United Green Movement Party (UGM) would like to announce and bring to the attention of the nation that our Co-National Women Leader Honorable Reverend Catherine Dzame, passed on last night after a short illness.
Since joining UGM in 2018, she has played a central role in strengthening the Party, including representing us at the Political Parties Liaison Committee (PPLC). The Hon. Rev. Dzame was a steadfast pillar of the Party and a committed servant of our values. Her service, integrity and dedication to value-driven politics and women’s leadership made its mark in expanding the democratic participation of women in Kenyan politics. The Greens country-wide, mourn a leader who gave her all to the movement. We have lost one of our very best whose passing will take a lifetime to replace.
Our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and to all those whose lives she impacted. May her legacy endure and inspire us.
