The Ukatiba Caravan for Voter Registration and National ID Mobilization across all 47 Counties
The UGM Party Young Aspirants League and the David Maraga Presidential Campaign, is rolling out the Ukatiba Caravan, a nationwide mobilisation focused on National ID access and voter registration, with a strong emphasis on youth participation.
The Ukatiba Caravan is rooted in a simple truth: democracy begins with registration. Across the country, millions of young Kenyans remain excluded from the electoral process due to lack of identification or voter registration. This exclusion weakens our democracy and silences the voices that should shape Kenya’s future.
Through the Ukatiba Caravan, the UGM Party is taking mobilisation directly to the people. The Caravan will move across all 47 counties to support National ID processing, encourage voter registration, and build grassroots awareness on the importance of civic participation ahead of the 2027 General Election.
This campaign reflects the UGM Party’s commitment to constitutionalism, youth leadership, and accountable governance. It also aligns with the national vision championed by the David Maraga Presidential Campaign, which places the Constitution, integrity, and citizen power at the centre of leadership.
The Ukatiba Caravan is designed to activate young people across the country, and ensure that every eligible Kenyan is registered, counted, and ready to participate in shaping the nation’s future.
As the Caravan prepares to move across the country, the UGM Party calls on young people and all citizens to engage when the Caravan reaches their county. The future of Kenya depends on participation, and participation begins with registration.
Daily updates on the Ukatiba Caravan will be shared through UGM Party social media platforms.
