State of the Nation Address; The Way Forward
Former Chief Justice and 2027 presidential aspirant David Maraga will on Tuesday, June 16, deliver a major State of the Nation address and convene a high-level national dialogue dubbed “State of the Nation: The Way Forward” at Ufungamano House, Nairobi.
The forum will bring together national moral authorities, opposition leaders, civil society representatives, youth leaders, professionals, and other stakeholders to deliberate on Kenya’s most pressing challenges.
The address follows Maraga’s nationwide Ukatiba Caravan, a citizen engagement initiative that traversed 43 counties between February and April this year.
In his address, Maraga is expected to outline what he describes as a three-part national recovery agenda built around constitutionalism, restoration of human dignity, and economic renewal. He will also present his vision for what he calls “Ukombozi 2027”.
The dialogue will provide a non-partisan platform to articulate the way forward.
The United Green Movement Party and the Maraga27 Presidential Campaign welcomes all Kenyans to join.
