A vote for the Greens is a vote for servant leadership! At a time when Kenyans are demanding integrity, delivery, and leaders who place public interest above personal gain, Chewani Ward, Tana River has an opportunity to choose a different political culture in the upcoming 27th November 2025 by-elections.

The Greens attended a campaign town hall in support of our Chewani MCA candidate, Hon. Odha Ilu Hiyesa, a trusted community leader who has served in multiple capacities, particularly in nurturing young football talent and expanding opportunities for young people. His leadership vision speaks directly to the everyday realities of residents: access to healthcare, dignified living conditions, reliable road connectivity, and universal electricity to unlock economic activity and improve quality of life across the ward.

This by-election is a chance for the people of Chewani to elect leadership that is accountable, grounded, and committed to service rather than politics of convenience.

It was an honour to have our Presidential Flag Bearer engage residents during the townhall and mobilise support for the candidate. He was joined by UGM Co-Party Leader Hon. Neto Agostinho, Hon. Lucy Mwagumba, Hon. Abubakar Maawiya, Hon. Kofa Komora, Hon. Samini Dzombo, and members of the David Maraga Campaign team, Rev. Carol Kiarie, Mavin Mabonga, and Susan Lumumba.

As part of the day’s activities, we also planted trees, reinforcing our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable development as integral pillars of good governance.

Thank you, Tana River, for showing up and showing out.
