- A member of the Party shall cease to be one:
- Upon written resignation to the relevant Branch or National Executive Committee. Membership shall terminate with effect from the date of the receipt thereof, provided that the termination shall not absolve the member from performing any outstanding obligations owed to the Party or to the members qua members;
- By a resolution passed by t h e National Executive Council and ratified by the National Governing Council;
- By accepting an office, subscribing to or promoting activities of a Political Party or Organization whose aims and objectives are in competition with or in conflict with those of UGM;
- Upon Death
- By an operation of any prescribed law.
- By defaulting on membership subscriptions for a period of more than 12 months.
