Greens Cocktail Event: Climate Change and the Built Environment
Following the success of our inaugural event on “Climate Change and Health,” held on October 4, 2024, we are excited to announce the next session, themed “Climate Change and the Built Environment.” The event focuses on how climate change impacts urban planning, construction, and built infrastructure, and seeks to explore how the built environment can evolve to become sustainable, resilient, and climate-smart.
As cities expand and populations grow, the built environment adapts to the challenges posed by climate change, including rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and resource scarcity. This cocktail event will bring together architects, urban planners, engineers, and environmental advocates to discuss innovative strategies for designing climate-resilient cities that reduce carbon footprints and promote a sustainable built environment.
